This week, I continued to develop and form my design. I created a more productive Rhino model of my work and created a structural form. In addition, I created an additional structural concept that derived from a form of a previous pattern.

Assignment A03: Round 1 Process

In this assignment we were asked to design a Pavilion for the Baltimore Inner Harbor for the presentation of short historical videos. Initially, I explored various sites around the harbor for a pavillion and explored two different designs for each site. Afterwards I created a Rhino model and design sheet for the three that were more successful. My design approach for the form of the building was an attempt to merge ideas about the site(s) as well as various historical aspects of the city related to marina and sea life.

Assignment E02:

This assignment allowed us to apply techniques in rendering and atmospheric effects and create a high-quality rendering of a previous studio assignment. The rendering is from a recent studio assignment, in which we were to design a mixed-use apartment space on 14th and Swann St in Washington D.C. The top rendering highlights an ideal fall atmosphere at dusk. The bottom rendering shows the building at night.
